The holidays are about spending time with your loved ones, but Princess Charlotte would still like some time to herself, thanks very much. During their first engagement as a family of five, Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Charlotte stopped by the London Palladium dressed in coordinated holiday outfits for a a special performance of The National Lottery's Pantoland. The event was held in honor of essential workers and their families for all the work they've done to keep people safe during 2020.
As the family walked down the red carpet outside the Palladium hand-in-hand, the confident 5-year-old decided she'd much rather take in the experience at her own pace and let go of Prince William's hand halfway to the theatre entrance. When her dad tried to take her hand again, Charlotte waved him off gently, earning her a sweet pat on the head. The look on her face after she lets go is something akin to the determination every Disney movie lead wears before adventuring out into the unknown for the first time, and we are so on board to see what happens next. See a clip of the moment and photos of Charlotte enjoying the red carpet experience ahead.
